So last Sunday I had a week in Brighton reduced to 24 hours due to unforeseen circumstances, so I haven't been very active this week. I travelled to West Clewes the home of Welton Rovers who play in the Toolstation league on Saturday, hoping for a bit of excitement, boy did I get that wrong they lost last week and they got well beaten again this week with Portishead Town putting 5 past the home side who looked terrible with players arguing amongst themselves which never looks good. To me it looks like a group of guys playing for them selves and not as a team. Players are often out of position or not putting that extra bit of effort in to get the job done. I don't like to see players blaming someone else for their mistakes they should be man enough to hold their hands up and say sorry lads and get on with it.
It's time to start playing as a team remember there is no 'I' in team the system doesn't work unless all 11 players on the pitch are playing together. We know you have new coaching staff but things should be starting to come together now not only for your selves but for those that come and support you week in week out, I know some of them can be harsh at times but show them how good you can be with your football and then the number of fans will increase again and an air of confidence may flow around the team.
