So today was the second pre-season game for Welton Rovers who invited Bridgewater along for a game. The first half Welton Rovers got on top but Welton Rovers were still making bad decisions and silly passes, playing the long ball game doesn't work for them as they are quite a small side. I think it was a good exercise for both sides. It may have been a defeat for Welton Rovers but to the most part a good effort was made by most players the downfall was seeing the new guy coming of with what looked like a hamstring injury and Chris Pile spending the last half hour of the game stretching and holding his groin, but at least Will Hunter was back after rolling his ankle in the week.
