3 points dropped in a Lack Lustre performance

I was at West Clewes again today and Wincanton Town were the visitors this week in the last game before Christmas and with only a week to go to the Boxing Day clash away to Radstock Town. Christmas came early for Wincanton as Welton Rovers looked like they really didn't want to be there and Wincanton soon took the lead and didn't look back.

As for Welton not all players seemed to be on their game, yes I know they have a couple out with injuries and some suspended but to be honest thats not really an excuse as the players coming in should be good enough to play the Welton Rovers way but today some of them didn't, some players put the effort in but sadly some didn't and this is where they lost the game for me, the first half wasn't a pretty sight and why the manger didn't make at least one change maybe two within 20 minutes is beyond me.

The problem was not enough pressure was put on Wincanton when they had the ball along with too many free headers, throw Ins were going straight to the opposition to mention just a few problems. Although the senior players tried their best to keep the spirits up the body language from some just summed it up for me and other fans I spoke too. Given what is coming on Boxing Day you would have hoped they would have put the best game in today to try and get in the side for the Radstock Game. I think the Managers have some work to do in training this week to get the spirits back up and get them playing like Welton Rovers play.

The next game is the coal field classic away to local rivals Radstock with a 1pm kick off all being well and Boris doesn't call it off!

I would like to wish everybody that reads this and views my photos a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New year!!! I hope to see you at Radstock
